The purpose of the Jewelweed Goat Milk Soap is to alleviate the itch and inflammation of poison ivy. Our jewelweed soap is safe to use before and after trips into poison ivy-infested areas, as well as rubbing directly on poison ivy rashes. However, if you already have the rash, lather the jewelweed soap bar and apply directly to the raised bumps in the shower. Let the lathery goodness sit on the affected area for a few minutes. A significant amount of Jewelweed extract is in every bar. Sourced directly on our farm near the stream, our jewelweed extract has never been exposed to fertilizers or pesticides.
